Flooding in Massachusetts

After heavy rains caused water to flood this basement we were called in to assist with the clean up. 

The homeowner had already removed some walls and flooring to help speed up the process of drying. When the flood waters receded the basement was filled with dirt and silt that covered the floors. 

We started the mitigation process by clearing the rooms of debris and using brooms and shovels to get out the excess dirt. Once the majority of it was removed we started using a process of pressure washing and extracting until we had everything cleaned. Once that was complete we treated the affected areas with antimicrobial and set drying equipment to draw out all the excess moisture. After 3-4 days of drying we returned to a dry basement and removed our equipment.
